ALICE TAROT POLICY
Terms of Service
Please review the nature of Alice Tarot and the terms that apply before using the Service.
Effective date: October 3, 2026
Purpose and Scope
These Terms govern the use of tarot readings, card information, reading history, and related services (the “Service”) provided at alicetarot.net by Jongyong Lim, the operator of Alice Tarot (the “Operator”).
A service agreement is formed when a user indicates acceptance of these Terms during sign-up. Additional terms displayed for a particular feature also apply to that feature.
Eligibility and Accounts
Basic readings and public card information may be used without signing in. An account is required for features such as synchronizing reading history.
Children under 14 may not register. Users must provide accurate information, keep their login method secure, and must not use, transfer, or sell another person's account.
Service and Changes
Alice Tarot provides card meanings, spread-based interpretations, reading history, and counseling-style content based on cards selected and questions entered by users.
Readings and responses generated by AI may contain inaccurate or inconsistent content.
The Operator may change or discontinue features for quality, security, or operational reasons. Material changes or extended interruptions will be announced in advance where reasonably possible.
If purchased Keys become unusable for reasons attributable to the Operator, such as discontinuation of the Service, unused paid Keys will be refunded in accordance with the Refund Policy and applicable law.
Entertainment and Self-Reflection
Tarot readings and counseling-style content are reference materials for entertainment and self-reflection and do not guarantee future events or outcomes.
- They do not replace medical, mental health, legal, financial, or other professional diagnosis or advice.
- Users should make important decisions themselves after considering objective information and advice from qualified professionals.
- Nothing in this section excludes liability arising from the Operator's intent or gross negligence.
Keys and Paid Services
In-service usage credits are shown as “Keys.” Keys may be purchased or granted free through events or sign-up benefits and cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another person.
The product name, price, contents, service period, auto-renewal status, cancellation eligibility, and refund conditions for a paid service are disclosed before payment.
See the Refund Policy for additional principles.
User Responsibilities
Users must comply with applicable law and these Terms and must not:
- misuse another person's personal information or account, or submit false information;
- interfere with normal operation of the Service or bypass security measures;
- send excessive automated requests or collect data without authorization;
- infringe intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of the Service or a third party;
- use the Service for unlawful purposes or to harm another person; or
- sell, redistribute, or commercially exploit Service content without permission.
Intellectual Property
Rights in the Service interface, brand, original card artwork, editorial arrangement, and Operator-created content belong to the Operator or the applicable rights holder.
Users may view and keep Service results for personal, non-commercial use. The applicable license governs public data and open-source materials for which a source is identified.
Restrictions and Termination
Users may terminate the service agreement through the account withdrawal feature in My Page or at info@alicetarot.net. On withdrawal, personal information is destroyed in accordance with the Privacy Policy, and unused paid Keys are handled in accordance with the Refund Policy.
The Operator may restrict use after notice if a user violates law or these Terms or materially threatens Service security. An urgent security threat may be restricted first and explained afterward.
Limitation of Liability
The Operator is not liable for loss not attributable to the Operator, such as natural disasters, network failures, or a user's failure to secure a device or account.
This section does not limit rights that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains the categories, purposes, retention periods, processing arrangements, and user rights relating to personal information.
Changes and Disputes
The Operator may revise these Terms to reflect changes in law or the Service. Material changes unfavorable to users will be announced with the effective date and reason within a reasonable advance period.
The parties will first attempt to resolve disputes through consultation. Unresolved disputes are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea and the court having jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
Language
These Terms were originally prepared in Korean. English and Japanese translations are provided for convenience. If there is any inconsistency or difference in interpretation, the Korean version controls.
